Allen County Library Summer Reading Program!!

The Allen County Public Library is offering up an AWESOME summer reading program this year! Starting June 4th you can pick up your time sheet, and as you reach certain levels you can get a sippy cup or splat ball, a backpack tote bag and a free book!

In addition to the reading incentives, they are also offering lots of cool entertainment at various times on Thursdays throughout the summer. Some of the entertainment slated for this year includes a magician, live animals, book bingo, Bad Kitty appearances and a visit from Science Central. For a full list of entertainment head over here. Barnes And Noble Summer Reading Program!!

One of the great things about summer is the reading programs to keep little minds engaged! Currently Barnes and Noble is offering a FREE BOOK for reading 8 books and keeping track of them in a book journal. Once you have filled it out, you can take it to any Barnes and Noble location to pick up your free book! There are 5 English books to choose from in the first and second grade category (and 2 in Spanish)--Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, Danny and the Dinosaur, Fancy Nancy: Fancy Day in Room 1A, Lego Hero Factory: Meet the Heroes and National Geographic Readers Series: Titanic. There are also categories for grades 3-6.

Busy Week Behind Me...

I'm still here! I know the posts have been nonexistent for the last week, but preparing Mason's 7th birthday party has completely consumed me! All went well, but now I'm knee deep in laundry and my house looks atrocious. I am devoting tomorrow to getting my household in order and will be back to blogging Tuesday.

General Mills Ceral On Sale At Kroger!

I was just looking over the new Kroger ad which starts tomorrow, and I noticed that General Mills Cereal is included in the Buy 10 Get $4 off sale. It very vaguely states "select varieties" so I have no idea what cereals will be included. There are a few .50 off coupons out there that will triple, so you can potentially get .49 cereal if these kinds are included:

Free Chips At Kroger May 11th From 3-8!

I was just going through my coupon inserts from last week and noticed this sheet--free chips at Kroger on Friday, May 11th!

Visit participating Krogers on May 11th from 3pm to 8pm to get your free bag of chips :) We happened to stumble upon this promo last year at Kroger, and they gave everyone in my family a bag! Keep in mind these are not the large bags but more like the .99 bags you get from the gas station. Nonetheless, I'm not complaining! Everyone was happy!
