One of the great things about summer is the reading programs to keep little minds engaged! Currently Barnes and Noble is offering a FREE BOOK for reading 8 books and keeping track of them in a book journal. Once you have filled it out, you can take it to any Barnes and Noble location to pick up your free book! There are 5 English books to choose from in the first and second grade category (and 2 in Spanish)--Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked, Danny and the Dinosaur, Fancy Nancy: Fancy Day in Room 1A, Lego Hero Factory: Meet the Heroes and National Geographic Readers Series: Titanic. There are also categories for grades 3-6.
Just as a printing heads up, the PDF book journal prints in English and Spanish. So, if you only need the English version just print pages 1-2! Happy reading!!
